When a woman at the NYSC orientation camp confessed her love for a fellow corps member, online users showered her with advice and warnings.
The woman on X who went by @OreotheCookie told the story of how she fell in love with the corp member who had shown her kindness.
She claimed that the intensity of her feelings forced her to abandon her SAED lecture class in order to attend his.
She continued by debunking widely held misconceptions about NYSC love, emphasizing that real love is possible in camp.
“Camp love is real asf. Used to banter people doing love love meanwhile this boy has made most of my days this week🤡. I left my SAED today to join his own so we could be together”. She said.
“He buys me coffee in the mornings (because it’s always cold), buys me dinner every night and we spend social nights together. I even stayed awake during morning parade so I could hear him read the news.”
