Highly Driven Mother-Daughter Duo Celebrates As they Graduate From Same Nursing School

Cursory: Hondros College of Nursing in Toledo, Ohio, in the US, was attended by Detroit, Michigan native Shalisa Davis and her daughter. After working as a practical nurse for the preceding 20 years, the ambitious mother went back to school and her daughter joined her. The mother-daughter nursing pair just receive their certificates from the nursing program.

Shalisa Davis, a native of Detroit, and her daughter just received their nursing degrees from Toledo’s Hondros College of Nursing in the United States of America (USA).

Shalisa, a practical nurse for twenty years, went back to school. She made the decision to achieve more in her field after assessing her next steps in her career.

The tenacious mother researched nursing schools to boost her education. She then learned about Toledo, Ohio’s Hondros College of Nursing, which is close to her native Detroit.

When she enrolled in school, her daughter Mishay Davis said she would join her.

”We found Hondros, and I was eager to visit. So she made the decision to accompany him. So we simply decided to do it together,” Shalisa recalled, WTOL 11 news reports.

The mother-daughter team worked together to finish school, holding each other accountable and completing the classes as a team. They recently graduated from nursing school and walked across the stage together.

Along with her success, Shalisa was happy to see her son Justin Davis graduate from college. The family is currently making progress. Mishay has passed her tests and intends to go back to school to become a family physician.

Shalisa is progressing in her career and intends to open her own clinic in the future to treat underserved areas with excellent care.
