Brilliant 100L Student Commits Suicide, Her Reason Leaves People in Shock

CURSORY: An Intelligent University Student, Sarah Maikefi has ended her life and her reason has left many in shock.

After a turbulent relationship, Miss Sarah Maikefi, a 100-level microbiology student at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) tragically committed suicide.

As a student at Nasarawa State University, Sarah was well-known for her academic accomplishments and her parents took great delight in her.

She was the eldest of four children and appeared cheerful till her passing away.

The difficulties of a failed relationship forced Sarah to make a terrible choice that startled everyone in her vicinity.

In a tragic occurrence that happened at an off-campus lodge close to the Family and Friends Hotel, the young student said goodbye to the world.

People who knew Sarah were astonished by the abrupt change of events because, despite her healthy/happy appearance, she carried the weight of her troubles in silence.

The incident occurred shortly after her second-semester examinations, completed on Friday, December 8.

Miss Patience Maikefi, Sarah’s cousin and fellow student, said the deceased had phoned her on the phone following her semester exams and that she was sick of everything and could not take it anymore.

It was too late, even though nearby residents and students tried to step in and reduce the poison’s effects.

Sarah passed away unexpectedly, shocking and grieving the campus community.

Additionally, one of the students, identified only as Danjuma, stated to The Nation, “We met here early this year when she came for her four-year degree programme and we shared a good relationship as students. She was gentle, calm and cool.”
