UTME/JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION FOR EDUCATION AND INTEGRATED SCIENCE

Below is the UTME/JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION for Education and Integrated Science;

English Language(*), and Any three (3) of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Agricultural Science.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

(i) IAUED requires English Language and Mathematics, and any two (2) of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Agricultural science and Health science.
(ii) DELSU accepts Chemistry, Biology and one other Science subject.
(iii) LAGOS requires English Language, Biology and any two of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Agricultural Science.
(iv) UYO accepts any two (2) Science subjects.
(V) BENIN requires Biology, Chemistry, Physics/ Mathematics.
(vi) EDASAB requires Biology, Chemistry and Physics/ Mathematics.
(ix) MAKURDI requires Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
(x) ABU requires Use of English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
(xi) FED-KASHERE requires Any three of Biology, Chemistry, Physics Mathematics and Agriculture,
(xii) YABA-DEG requires English Language and any other three (3) Science subjects.

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT FOR EDUCATION AND INTEGRATED SCIENCE

Below is the UTME Requirement for Education and Integrated Science;

Five (5) SSC credit passes including Biology, Chemistry, English Language and Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

(i) UNN require in addition to Chemistry, Physics and any two (2) subject from Agriculture, Biology, Health Science and ‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics.
(ii) IAUED: Applicants must have five credit passes at SSCE/WASC/NECO/GCE ‘O’ level or Merit in TC II including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings. The candidates must have credit passes in three science subjects including any two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any one of Geography, Health.
(iii) RSU – As in Education and Chemistry.
(iv) BENIN requires Physics and any of Agricultural Science or Geography/Physics and Mathematics.
(v) UYO requires at least five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Agricultural Science.
(vi) TASUED requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at one (1) sitting or six (6) ‘O’ Level credit passes at two (2) sittings including Biology, Chemistry, English Language and Mathematics
(v) OAU requires five (5)’O’ Level credit passes or five (5) merit/credit at TC II. Including English Language, Mathematics and two (2) of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Science and Agricultural Science.
(vi) MAKURDI requires credit passes in Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing or Physics.
(vii) LAGOS requires Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and any one of Agricultural Science, Integrated Science, Physics.
(vi) AAUA requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and one (1) other subject.
(vii) DELSU requires five (5) SSC ‘O’ Level credit should include Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language
(viii) EBSU requires five (5) SSC credit passes to include Mathematics, English Language and three (3) other science subjects.
(ix) ABU requires Five ‘O’ level credit passes in English language, Mathematics, Physics Chemistry and Biology.TC II credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science and any other two Science subjects.
(x) FED-KASHERE Five credit passes at SSCE in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science
(xi) YABA-DEG requires Five (5) O’Level credits in English Language, Mathematics and any other three (3) Science subjects.

DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR EDUCATION AND INTEGRATED SCIENCE

Below is the DIRECT ENTRY (DE) Requirement for Education and Integrated Science;

NCE Integrated Science
NCE Science Education
A’ level passes in two Science subjects.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

(i) IAUED: Applicants with one of the following qualifications may be considered for direct admission by direct entry into the 3 years B.Sc.Ed programme in addition to completing the JAMB (Direct Entry application). NCE Integrated science double major. NCE Integrated science and one other science subject
(ii) EDALV and OAU – As in Education/Chemistry and ‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics.
(iii) RSU – As in Education Chemistry.
(iv) EBSU accepts: a) two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer, Mathematics or Integrated Science. b) HND and NCE/OND with minimum of Merit and Upper credit respectively.
(v) OAU requires ‘A’ Level passes in two (2) Science subjects plus three (3) other ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics OR NCE in Mathematics/Integrated Science plus three (3) other subjects including Mathematics and English Language at credit/merit level in TC II OR credit/merit in Associateship Certificate in Education of OAU or its equivalent plus three (3) ‘O’ Level credit passes.
(vi) BSU accepts NCE at merit level and ‘O’ Level credit pass in Mathematics.
(vii) LAGOS accepts NCE with credit/merit in Integrated Science or Science Education and one other Science subject. Very good passes in the following JUPEB subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Three ‘A’ Level passes in Science subjects
(viii) EKSU accepts a pass in NCE General English in lieu of SSC/TC II credit in English Language.
(ix) BENIN requires two (2) or three (3) NCE merit including Integrated Science plus three (3) or two (2) ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language at one (1) sitting.
(x) BAUCHI accepts NCE pass with five (5) years teaching experience.
(xi) TASUED accepts NCE merit in Integrated Science or two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in two (2)Science subjects
(xiv) ABU accepts NCE with ‘C’ grade in Education and Integrated Science. IJMB or ‘A’ level pass with a minimum of ‘C’ grade (merit) in Physics and ‘D’ grade in any other Science subject. ABU Diploma in Integrated Science or Physics Education with a minimum of Merit pass.
(xv) FED-KASHERE accepts Two A’ Level credit passes/NCE in relevant Science subjects. .
(xiii) OAU accepts ‘A’ Level passes in two (2) Science subjects plus three (3) other ‘O’ Level credit passes including English and Mathematics OR NCE in Mathematics/Integrated Science plus three (3) other subjects including Mathematics and English Language credit or merit in the TC II OR credit/merit in Mathematics/Integrated Science in the Associateship Certificate in Education of OAU or its equivalent plus three (3) credit passes in other ‘O’ Level subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
(xiv) YABA-DEG accepts NCE Integrated Science. NCE Science Education. A Level passes in two (2) Science subjects.
(xiv) MAKURDI accepts ND upper credit in relevant programmes plus the UTME requirements.
(xv) AAUA requires three (3) merit at NCE in Education and two (2) relevant teaching science subjects. (xvi) DELSU requires; a) NCE merit passes and above in Integrated Science or any Science Education. b) GCE ‘A’ Level in two (2) Science subjects. c) Merit in DELSU Diploma in Integrated Science.
(xvii) UYO requires; a) NCE in relevant subject(s) with an overall merit pass or above for a three-year degree programme. b) Advanced level GCE or JUPEB in two relevant subjects. c) National Diploma in Educational Technology (DET) (minimum of lower credit level) in any area related to Integrated Science Education.
