According to the management of the school, bayero university doesn’t have fake professors.
According to the PUNCH, the vice chancellor said the report was “Malicious, doctored and fallacious” and could damage the university’s good image.
Furthermore, the vice chancellor noted that the authoritative body which oversees higher education in Nigeria (National universities commission) has discarded the news of fake professors in the university community.
Recently, buk was ranked as the 3rd best university for international students according to an international education database assessor StudyAbroadAide, based in South Korea.
The school management describes the report as an attempt to stain the good name of the school, and call on the general public to disregard the information.
The release reads in part: “We call on people to disregard the said publication as not only fake but also with the intent to destroy the reputation of Nigerian universities by some enemies of progress”
Prof Sagir also said the University has always followed the standard procedures and regulations as stipulated by the regulating authorities in the country.
He added saying; “We emphatically deny the existence of such professors in our highly reputable institution of learning, which can be attested to by the recent global rankings released by internationally reputable universities’ accessors.”
