Cursory: A Nigerian lady has shared insights on transitioning from university to the workforce via TikTok.

A Nigerian woman has shared valuable insights on what undergraduate students should know before transitioning from university to the workforce.
She posted a video on her TikTok page, @chopilos, acknowledging that it might be challenging for many individuals to accept.
She pointed out that some parents may not have the influential connections they claim, and this reality becomes evident after graduation when students must navigate the job market independently.
She stressed the importance of leveraging “pretty privilege” by dressing well and maintaining a polished appearance, as it can significantly impact opportunities. Additionally, she advised students to cultivate relationships with affluent peers, as these connections can enhance their networking prospects.
Furthermore, she urged smart students to remain humble and receptive to learning from others, cautioning against arrogance. Lastly, she advised students to avoid surrounding themselves exclusively with like-minded individuals, as it can stifle personal growth.
