It was not limited to year groups, but how long the student had been learning the language for: meaning that I had to compete against lots of older teenagers who seemed so confident and well-spoken! However, I was also confident in the way I presented myself, and I think my familiarity with the text also gave me a winning edge!I’m so grateful to God for this opportunity, and again thanks to my Chinese Teacher and my Mum, Funmi Adewara!
