How to Check NECO GCE Result.
Please note that you NEED to purchase tokens to check the Results. See How to Purchase NECO Token Here.
- Go to NECO result checking portal at results.neco.gov.ng.
- Pick your exam year. i.e. 2025
- Pick your exam type. i.e. SSCE EXTERNAL (NOV/DEC)
- Enter your Token Number and correct registration number in the appropriate columns.
- Finally, click on the check result button to access your NECO result.
NECO GCE RESULT STATISTICS
Here’s a summary of the key findings from the performance statistics for the November/December 2025 SSCE:
- Over 80% of candidates achieved five credits and above (specifically, 86.26% or 82,082 candidates obtained five credits and above, irrespective of including English Language and Mathematics).
- 71.63% of candidates (68,166) obtained five credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics.
- In English Language: 78.32% (73,167 out of 93,425 candidates who sat) obtained credit and above.
- In Mathematics: 91.35% (85,256 out of 93,330 candidates who sat) obtained credit and above.
- Total registered candidates: 96,979 (53.43% male, 46.56% female).
- Total candidates who sat the examination: 95,160.
- Examination malpractice cases increased by 31.7% compared to 2024: 9,016 candidates booked in 2025 (vs. 6,160 in 2024).
- Five supervisors recommended for blacklisting (2 from FCT, 1 each from Kano, Adamawa, and Ondo States) for aiding malpractice.
- Four examination centres recommended for de-recognition (2 in Niger State, 1 in Yobe, 1 in Kano) due to whole-centre malpractice.
