Student Who Received an F Grade Gets a B After Requesting Her Exam Script Be Remarked

A university graduate revealed that her final-year course grade was changed from an F to a B after she requested a remark of her exam script, which the professor discovered had not been fully marked.

A university graduate has shared how she successfully challenged an F grade she received in one of her final-year courses after asking her professor to remark her examination script.

The lady, identified as @ladycee on X, explained that the incident happened during the first semester of her final year. She said she was shocked when she saw the F grade because she believed she had performed much better in the examination.

Determined to understand what went wrong, she visited the professor responsible for the course and told him she believed there had been a mistake in the marking.

According to her, the lecturer initially reacted angrily and questioned why she was challenging his grading. To test her knowledge, he gave her a mathematics question to solve and warned that there would be consequences if she failed.

She completed the question within 10 minutes, impressing the professor. After introducing herself again and requesting that her exam script be reviewed, the lecturer retrieved it and discovered that it had not been fully marked.

The professor then remarked the script, and her final grade was changed from an F to a B.

Her story has since gone viral on social media, with many users praising her confidence and encouraging students to speak up whenever they genuinely believe an error has been made in the grading process.
