BASUG Admission List 2023/2024 is Out [1st – 3rd Batch]

This is to inform the general public, particularly candidates who applied for admission into the Bauchi State University Gadau for the 2023/2024 Academic Session, that shortlisted candidates have been released. The list can be found at www.basug.edu.ng.

Candidates are to use the link below to check their name on the list;

FOR THIRD: Shortlisted candidates are to note that physical screening (including those of 1^st and 2^nd batch) continues from Monday 29th January to Friday the 2^nd February 2024 at the respective Faculties of the programmes domicile. Visit our website at www.basug.edu.ng for the list.

FOR SECOND BATCH: Shortlisted candidates are to note that physical screening commences Monday 15th January 2024 at the respective Campuses of the programmes domicile and closes on 19th January 2023. Visit our website at www.basug.edu.ng for the list.

For FIRST Batch: Bauchi State University, Gadau hereby invites the under-listed candidates for physical screening starting from Monday 13th November 2023 to 20th November 2023. 

The list of admitted candidates and other instructions have been made available on the school’s portal

NB:  All candidates must do the following before screening :

• Upload their O’level on JAMB CAPS or their admission will not be processed.
• Change to the Course for which they are shortlisted before they can be screened.
• Bring originals and photocopies of their credentials for the screening exercise.
• Bring one (1) passport photograph
• Bring scratch cards of the O’level examination they are submitting.

Check Admission Status on the JAMB Portal

At the moment, the list is not yet on the JAMB Portal. but when it comes out, the procedure below can be used to check it:

1. Go https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Then click on Admission Status,
5. You should then click on check admission status or
6. Click on Access my CAPS.
7. Select the three-dotted line at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for a better view)
8. Then click on admission status
9. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.

Congratulations on your admission. Please make sure you go for the physical screening schedule!.
