BASUG Merit Admission List 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

This is to inform the general public, particularly candidates who applied for admission into the Bauchi State University Gadau for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, that shortlisted candidates have been released. The list can be found at www.basug.edu.ng.

Candidates are to use the link below to check their name on the list;

REQUIREMENTS FOR PHYSICAL SCREENING

Shortlisted candidates should take note of the following.

• Shortlisted candidates are required to come along with originals & photocopies of the following credentials for verification at the point of physical screening.
  1. Computer printout of SSCE Result
  2. JAMB Result
  3. Online Screening Form
  4. A Recent Passport Photograph
  5. Scratch Card for verification of O’ Level
• Candidates must ensure that they upload their O’ Level on the JAMB Portal at any JAMB accredited Centre before coming.
• Two (2) to three (3) days after a successful screening, candidates should check the JAMB Portal to accept and print their JAMB Admission Letters.
• Only candidates who accepted their admission at JAMB will be able to access the Sa’adu Zungur University admission in the portal.

NB:  All candidates must do the following before screening :

• Upload their O’level on JAMB CAPS or their admission will not be processed.
• Change to the Course for which they are shortlisted before they can be screened.
• Bring originals and photocopies of their credentials for the screening exercise.
• Bring one (1) passport photograph
• Bring scratch cards of the O’level examination they are submitting.

Candidates must ensure that they upload their O’ Level on the JAMB Portal at any JAMB accredited Centre before coming.

Two (2) to three (3) days after a successful screening, candidates should check the JAMB Portal to accept and print their JAMB Admission Letters.

Only candidates who accepted their admission at JAMB will be able to access the Sa’adu Zungur University admission in the portal.

Check Admission Status on the JAMB Portal

At the moment, the list is not yet on the JAMB Portal. but when it comes out, the procedure below can be used to check it:

1. Go https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Then click on Admission Status,
5. You should then click on check admission status or
6. Click on Access my CAPS.
7. Select the three-dotted line at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for a better view)
8. Then click on admission status
9. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.

Congratulations on your admission. Please make sure you go for the physical screening schedule!.
