Bauchi State University, Gadau has banned the signing out activity which student do at the end of the final year exams as graduands.


The state university has passed a circular banning the signing out which final year students do.
The circular which is signed by the Dean student Affairs Dr. Shuaibu Gokaru reads:
“The student Affairs Division has observed that some students are in the habit of organizing unapproved events on campus. All students must note that permission must be obtained from the Dean of Student Affairs for all students activities on campus. Any student or group of students who organize any activity on campus without approval will be sectioned according to regulations. Activities such as welcome to 400 level, sign out, etc are banned.
This is in view of the prevailing security situation.
Please be guided.”
Schools have began to ban this activity as the Bauchi State University is the first to do so.
