NWUK Post UTME Form 2026/2027 is Out [UPDATED]

Northwest University (NWU) formerly Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano (YMSUK) Post UTME Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session is now on sale. Cut-off mark is 150-240. Form Cost N2,000. The closing date is Sunday 23rd August 2026.

This is to inform the general public that the Northwest University (NWU) formerly called Yusuf Maitama Sule University (YMSU) Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Form for the 2026/2027 academic session is out.

Registration starts from Monday 10th August 2026 to Sunday 23rd August 2026.

Candidates Eligible to Apply for NWU Post UTME Form

UTME Candidates

Candidates must have chosen the Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano as FIRST choice.
Must have obtained a minimum of 5 Credit Passes including English Language and Mathematics in SSCE (or Equivalent) at not more than two sittings.
Must have scored a minimum of 150-240 depending on the course they apply for. See the NWU Cut-off mark below.
Candidates awaiting their O’level result can apply but must choose AR as their grade when registering for the post utme.
Must posses 2026 UTME Result

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Must have applied for Direct Entry (DE), through JAMB.
Must have obtained a minimum of 5 Credit Passes including English Language and Mathematics in SSCE (or Equivalent) at not more than two sittings.
Must have obtained the National Diploma (ND), IJMB, NCE (or equivalent) certificate or statement of result.
Candidates with ND must have minimum CGPA of 3.0 for Science based programmes and 3.5 for Arts based programmes respectively.
Candidates with N.C.E. must have minimum of 9 points for relevant programmes in the Faculty of Education.
Candidates with IJMB must have minimum of 7 points for Sciences and 8 points for Arts based programmes respectively.

Candidates wishing to register for UTME screening or the DE Screening should visit the University’s WEBSITE (www.nwu.edu.ng) and click on 2026 ADMISSION PORTAL”.
Candidates should then generate NABROLL payment invoice from the portal and make online payment or proceed to any Bank Nationwide to make payment for the sum of TWO THOUSAND NAIRA (2,000) only as the Screening Charges
Candidates should return to the Portal to complete the registration and print Acknowledgment Slip to be presented together with other credentials during the Aptitude Test or Direct Entry Screening.

Some other Important Things to Know?

Any candidate who wishes to change his choice of Institution or programme using JAMB Green Card must do so before midnight of 9th August, 2026
Candidates must upload their credentials on their JAMB E-Facility
Any candidate who fails to register within the stipulated period will not be considered for admission into the University for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Candidates must make sure they register with the correet grades on their SSCE results, Any disparity will lead to cancellation of the admission, at the point of screening
