EBSU Admission List 2026/2027 is Out [UPDATED]

This is to inform all candidates who chose Ebonyi State University (EBSU) in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that the EBSU admission list for the 2026/2027 session is out.

HOW TO CHECK EBSU ADMISSION LIST

As of the time of this publication, the Ebonyi State University, EBSU prospective students can only check their admission status from the JAMB Portal.

Check Admission Status On JAMB Portal

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below:

1. Go https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Then click on Admission Status,
5. You should then click on check admission status or
6. Click on Access my CAPS.
7. Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
8. Then click on admission status
9. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
10. Case 1: If you see CONGRATULATIONS…, accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.
11. Case 2: If you see admission in progress, then be patient, the status will change in few days/weeks. Just check back after some time.
12. Case 3: Not Admitted, if in such case, please don’t give up yet! You might still gain admission. Just be hopeful!

Check Admission Status On EBSU Portal

Soon, the list will be made available on the EBSU Admission portal. When that happens, the procedure below will likely be used to check admission status:

• Candidates are to visit: https://portal.ebsu.edu.ng/modules/admission/CheckAdmissionStatus.aspx
• Select 2025/2026 academic session
• Choose to search either by JAMB reg Number or By Name
• Provide your JAMB Reg. Number or Name in the required column 
• Click on “Check Admission Status”
