Wike’s Daughter Earns Law Degree from the University of Southampton

Jazmyne Wike, daughter of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, graduated with an Upper Second-Class Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Southampton in the UK, with her achievement celebrated by family and prominent political figures.

Jazmyne, the daughter of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has graduated from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree, earning Upper Second-Class Honours.

The graduation ceremony, held on Wednesday, was attended by Wike, his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, and several prominent political figures from across Nigeria.

The news was shared by the FCT Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, through a post on his Facebook page. He congratulated Jazmyne on her academic achievement and highlighted the presence of family members and distinguished guests at the event.

Among those who attended the ceremony were the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri; former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Prof. Sandy Onor; Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa; the PDP Deputy National Chairman (South), Aaron Chukwuemeka; and Rivers State APC governorship candidate, Hon. Kingsley Chinda.

Other dignitaries included the Executive Director of Projects at the South South Development Commission, Hon. Marcus Nle Ejii; House of Representatives member representing Ahoada West/Ogba-Egbema/Ndoni Federal Constituency, Hon. Victor Obuzor; and the publisher of This Nigeria newspaper, Eric Osagie, alongside several other guests who attended to celebrate the milestone.
