A Nigerian lady, known on Instagram as Pretty Ajiwin, has gained widespread attention for a remarkable academic feat—graduating as the only student in her department.
In a post shared on Instagram, Pretty Ajiwin revealed that she was admitted to Ekiti State University (EKSU) in 2021 to study Environmental Management and Science. However, she had no idea that she would be the only student in her department throughout the program.
Her Unique Journey
Recounting her experience, she shared how she attended lectures alone, studied alone, and wrote all her exams without any classmates. Each semester involved sitting for no fewer than ten courses—completely solo.
Despite the isolation, she credited her success to divine support and perseverance.
Her Words:
“Signed out as the only student in my department from 100–400 level. I got admission to Ekiti State University in 2021. Little did I know I would be the only student. No coursemate, just me alone. Wrote exams alone. Nothing less than 10 courses per semester. Attending classes alone, reading alone—but God did it. I signed out, guys. B.Sc. Environmental Management and Science.”
