Caleb University, Lagos celebrated a milestone as they rank 18th best university in Nigeria according yo the 2024 World University Ranking by Times Higher Education.

Caleb University, located in Imota Lagos, has achieved a significant milestone by being ranked as the 18th best university among Nigeria’s 272 public and private institutions, according to the 2024 World University Ranking by Times Higher Education (THE).
This remarkable achievement places Caleb University among the world’s top universities, with elite institutions from 152 countries and regions evaluated for the 2024 ranking.
This success follows Caleb University’s recent recognition as the Best Private University in Nigeria for 2024, highlighting its dedication to academic excellence, innovative research, and student success.
According to Vice Chancellor Prof. Nosa Owens-Ibie, “Winning both national and international recognitions consecutively proves that we continue to exemplify the best and brightest. The future belongs to Caleb University.”
In a statement by Olawale Adekoya, Information, Media, and Publication Specialist, the ranking acknowledges the university’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, world-class education, fostering innovation, and producing graduates who make a global impact.
Prof. Olalekan Asikhia, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Research, Innovation, Strategy, and Administration (RISA), noted that after being ranked 66th in Nigeria in 2021, the university’s management aim for a 30 position by 2024. Surpassing this goal and achieving a top 20 ranking in 2024 is a testament to the collective efforts and strategic planning of the university.
