As part of its proactive measures, four foreign students of the University of Ilorin, Kwara state, have been screened by the Coronavirus preventive Committee of the institution to ensure they are free from the pandemic disease.


Dr Adurotoye Idayat, chairperson of the committee, who disclosed this to newsmen at the University campus in Ilorin, Wednesday said three of the students were Ghanaians while one was a Chadian.

Meanwhile, the results are yet to be released.
She said since the outbreak of the pandemic Coronavirus, the committee had put in place preventive mechanism to ensure no incident is recorded.
Dr Adurotoye explained that the committee has also made provision to distribute hand sanitizers and other preventive kits in the institution.
She urged members of the university community to ensure they observed high level of environmental hygiene.
