24-Year-Old Ghanaian Woman Excels in Law School and Becomes a Lawyer

Kezia Asiedua Sanie, a 24-year-old Ghanaian, excelled in law school, balancing academics with running an NGO for underprivileged children, and was called to the Ghana Bar two years after earning her LLB.

Kezia Asiedua Sanie, a 24-year-old Ghanaian, has been admitted to the Ghana Bar after excelling in her law school exams, two years after earning her LLB from the University of Ghana, Legon.

In a LinkedIn post, Kezia expressed her joy and relief, describing the achievement as the fulfillment of a dream and the culmination of a difficult yet rewarding journey. While pursuing her law degree, she also ran For The Future Ghana, an NGO dedicated to empowering underprivileged children by rescuing them from abusive situations and providing support.

Despite the challenges of balancing her academic and humanitarian work, Kezia credited God’s grace for guiding her through. She passed the Ghana School of Law entrance exam on her first attempt and shared that law school was the toughest experience she had faced, with moments of doubt and struggles with imposter syndrome.

Her strategy involved working smarter, relying on group studies, and late-night sessions fueled by energy drinks during exams. Now called to the bar, she feels proud not only for herself but for the children she serves.

Kezia envisions a career that merges her passion for law and child advocacy, aiming to protect children’s rights and uplift marginalized communities. Grateful for the support of family, friends, and colleagues, she looks forward to building her legal expertise while continuing her mission to serve others both in Ghana and globally.
