SAD Gist: 3 DELSU Students Allegedly burnt Beyond Recognition on their way from Benin.

Three students of Delta State Universities (DELSU), ABraka has allegedly been reported burnt beyond recognition while coming back from Benin City.

The students were were on their way to DELSU, when their driver lost control while trying to avoid a pothole. After the bus somersaulted, the students were said to have been trapped in the bus as it burst into flames.

One of the Survivor identified as Kyng Biglyf Pearce has gone to social media to share his story and thanksgiving.

His Post reads: “Its a Thanksgiving day for me. I escaped death yesterday 4-5pm.

“The vehicle somersaulted and the side of the vehicle I was hit the ground. The vehicle started burning. I tried to escape through the window but it was too tight but somehow I was able to climb out but my feet’s were burnt. As at the time of my escape the vehicle was ready to explode.

“As soon as I was able to jump out, after helping one of the victims, within 1 minute the vehicle exploded, kaboom! The other people who were unable to escape got burnt to ashes.

“This is a tragedy but one thing I am grateful of is that I was able to escape and was also able to save one person. May Jah be praised. He liveth forever. God is indeed great.

“Rest in peace to all those who lost their lives and may the good Lord comfort the family of these victims. “
