The WAEC result of Charles David, a Nigerian student known for winning 17 spelling bee competitions, has gone viral, showcasing his exceptional academic performance alongside his spelling achievements.

Charles, a student at Greater Tomorrow International College in Arigidi-Akoko, excelled in his 2024 WAEC exams, earning A1 grades in English Language, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Animal Husbandry, Computer Studies, and Civic Education, with B grades in Biology and Physics.

In addition to his academic success, Charles has won multiple national spelling bee titles, including the Intercontinental Spelling Bee and the Spell and Thrill Competition in 2023. His school’s admin officer, Mr. Afolabi Kolawole, praised him as the best graduating student and a top spelling bee champion in Nigeria, noting that Charles will represent Nigeria in an international spelling bee in Dubai in October.
