An OOU student was praised and rewarded with N10,000 after honestly returning N90,000 that was mistakenly transferred to her account.

A student of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has received praise online after honestly returning N90,000 that was mistakenly transferred into her bank account.
The incident was shared by a Nigerian man who explained that he intended to pay a technician but accidentally sent the money to the wrong account after receiving an incorrect Opay account number.
According to him, he completed the transfer without carefully confirming the account name. The error was later discovered when the technician informed him that one digit in the account number had been entered incorrectly.
After realizing the mistake, they contacted the person who received the money. The recipient turned out to be an OOU student, who reportedly responded politely and refunded the full N90,000 without hesitation.
Impressed by her honesty, the man rewarded her with N10,000 as a token of appreciation.
The story has attracted positive reactions on social media, with many Nigerians commending the student for her integrity. The incident has also highlighted the importance of verifying account details before making bank transfers.
