Toheeb Babalola, a 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II corps member, earned a meritorious award from Delta State NYSC for outstanding leadership, community impact, media literacy advocacy, and empowering people with special needs through his TechAbility project, showcasing the transformative potential of Nigerian youth.


Toheeb Babalola, a 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II corps member, received a meritorious award from Delta State NYSC Coordinator, Mr John Vandi T. Kwaghe, on Dec 18, 2025. Toheeb’s hard work and dedication earned him this recognition.
He led an 18-passenger bus from Ibadan to Issele-Uku camp, participated in SDG training, quiz, and cultural festival. As Vice President of CDS, he created awareness on UN SDG goals and trained corps members on Media Literacy and Factchecking.
Toheeb’s community project, TechAbility, empowered 20 people with special needs through Digital and Media training. He was rewarded by The Pointer Newspaper and served as Presiding Officer for the 2025 Anambra State Gubernatorial Election.
This NYSC journey boosted Toheeb’s leadership skills and personal growth. He’s a good example for other corps members passionate about making an impact. Toheeb’s story showcases the potential of Nigerian youth when given opportunities.
Toheeb’s achievement is a testament to his resilience and commitment. His work in media literacy and tech empowerment will likely inspire others.
