A 20-year-old FCE Okene student, Suleiman Rahma Onono, was found dead with body parts missing after being reported missing, prompting investigations, renewed campus security concerns, and grief across the Kogi college community.

A 20-year-old student of Federal College of Education (FCE), Okene, Kogi State, Suleiman Rahma Onono, was found dead with body parts missing. She was reported missing two Saturdays ago, sparking fear among students and staff.

Security operatives launched an investigation, and her disappearance had prompted efforts by family and friends to locate her. The college community is deeply shaken; Onono was described as dedicated and committed.

The college management reassured students and staff of improved safety measures. Security agencies investigate circumstances surrounding her death.

A similar incident occurred in September 2024, where a Federal University Lokoja student, Damilola Olowoyo, was killed for ritual purposes. Suspect Jeremiah Paul confessed, revealing he removed her eyes, lungs, and organs.

The recent incident reignited security concerns, calling for heightened student protection. Tributes and condolences pour in for Onono.
