FUTO Students Emerges 3rd Position in a Trophy Contest in London.


This is indeed great news to all aspirants, students and alumni of Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) as three students of the wonderful university emrged 3rd position in a contest held in London.
This was confirmed on the University’s official website. The news reads..
“In consonance, with the policy thrust of the 7th Substantive Vice Chancellor of FUTO “Driving the Culture of excellence”, three Students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri have once again demonstrated excellence in its entirety as they clinched the third position at the just concluded 2019 edition of the World Unilever Idea Trophy Contest in London on Friday, April 12, 2019.”
“The students, Mr Ezieboma Jeremiah, Miss Onuoha Oluebube and Mr Ezeoguine Chuka, all in 400 level represented Africa in the contest while competing with other 27 countries and brought unprecedented honour to Africa, Nigeria and especially FUTO which nurtured, trained and prepared them for the contest.”
“It is also on record that the Students Team Banga from FUTO won the National Unilever Idea Trophy in 2018 and also emerged winner in the Africa Unilever Idea Trophy Contest in 2018.”
