The Rivers State Government said it has begun the refund of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination registration fees to students in all public schools across the state.


The Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Education, Mr Chidi Adiele disclosed this in a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
The statement titled, ‘Government Special Announcement’, read, “This serves to inform the general public that the Rivers State Government through the state Ministry of Education has since commenced the refund of the 2021 UTME registration fees to students in all public schools in the state.
“Accordingly, principals of schools under reference who are yet to submit bank details of their Students as communicated earlier to them should please do so without delay.
“Parents and guardians are enjoined to reconcile bank details of their children and wards with relevant school authorities.”
