A Nigerian woman who studied abroad graduates from Missouri State University with a master’s degree.

A Nigerian woman, Olamide Ogundele has finished her master’s degree program after studying in the US for two years.
She stated on LinkedIn that she was accepted to four universities, but she eventually decided on Missouri State University, she posted her experience as soon as she was holding her degree.
Olamide also stated in the article that she attended Missouri State University to study chemistry, and she described how, despite her perseverance, she was unable to gain admission even after four attempts.
In her words: “I pen this with a heart full of gratitude—not your typical aspire to perspire post, just genuine thankfulness. Before getting into grad school, I applied during four admission seasons without getting any acceptance email, the first two attempts were mere near misses, but the third? Oh, that one hit me so hard, I didn’t shed tears, I WAAAAILED.
Finally, on the fourth try after restrategizing, and with God’s backing, three schools offered me admission, and I settled for Missouri State University. The journey of two years at MSU has come to an end, and behold what divine favour has wrought in TWO years! My journey was both graceful and impactful.”
In addition to her master’s degree in chemistry, Olamide Ogundele received 8 awards from Missouri State University.

The persistent lady also graduated with Distinction (first class honors) with an excellent 3.95 out of 4.0 CGPA.
