Akanu Ibiam Federal Poly announces cancellation of some activities for 2020/2201 students’ week


This is to inform you that Management at its 367th Regular Meeting held on Tuesday, 9 February 2021 considered and cancelled the following activities for 2020/2021 students’ week:
(1) Rag Day
(II) Gala Night
(ili) Old School Day
(iv) Cultural Day
(V) Jean’s Day
The cancellation is to prevent the spread of the new strain of COVID-19 in the Polytechnic in accordance with the Federal Government guidelines to contain the community spread of the new strain of the corona virus throughout the nation.
The decision of Management is hereby communicated to you for your information
You are required to bring this directive to the attention of the Students Union Executives as well as the entire students for their information and compliance
