The Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) Post UTME Registration for 2023/2024 Academic Session is still on sale. Cut-off mark is 160 and above. Direct Entry Form is also available. The closing date has been extended till Wednesday, 25th October 2023.

The general public is hereby notified that registration for the 2023/2024 Post-UTME screening is scheduled to hold from 8th to 25th October, 2023.

LATEST UPDATES: NSUK Further extends Post UTME Form 2023/2024 Deadline

The management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has further extended the Post UTME Screening Exercise which ended on the 14th of October 2023.

In a circular signed by the Deputy Registrar of Academics Barrister Ramatu Liman, the Post UTME Screening Exercise has been further extended by two (2) weeks commencing from the 16th of October 2023 to end on the 25th of October 2023.

The circular further stated that the extension is to accommodate applicants whose NECO results were released recently.

Applicants are advised to take advantage of the opportunity, as no further extension will be granted by the University.

The statement urges the general public to take advantage of the extension as the University will not grant any further extension of the POST-UTME screening.

Candidates should also note that in addition to the POST-UTME Screening, they are expected to also upload their O’level for UTME candidates and 0/L and A/Level results for Direct Entry candidates on their JAMB profile to qualify to be considered for admission.

Candidates Eligible for NSUK Post UTME/DE Screening.

To be eligible for the screening exercise, the candidate must have:

• Participated in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Direct Entry (DE) mode Examination (UTME) or applied through
• Scored not less than 160 marks in the 2023 UTME and possess a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND), Nasarawa State University Diploma, Merit in Nigeria Certificate of Education, (NCE), Eight (8) Points in IJMB for Direct Entry and Possess at least five “O” level credit passes including English and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in relevant subjects.
• The candidate must have chosen Nasarawa State University as First Choice in the 2023 UTME.
• However, candidates who did not choose Nasarawa State University as 1st Choice Institution are required to change to First Choice on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Portal to qualify for the screening.

NSUK Mode of Screening.

The Nasawara State University Keffi (NSUK) Screening will be fully Online Screening Process. There will be no examination!

How to Apply for NSUK Post UTME or Direct Entry Screening.

Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of (N2,000.00) Two thousand Naira only through the following steps:

• Visit the NSUK 2023 Post-UTME Screening Portal 
• Create an account by following the procedure below
  • In the application type, select Post UTME Application 2023/2024
  • Enter your JAMB Registration Number, Email Address, and Password in the appropriate space provided.
  • Then click on the proceed button.
  • If your JAMB registration number on the NSUK portal, you will be able to proceed with the registration else you will see validation failed.
• Login with the e-mail and password used in creating an account/profile
• Select payment for Screening through the available options
• Fill in your personal and contact details
• Upload the following:
  • Passport photograph
  • A’level Qualification (For DE Applicants Only) c) SSCE details for both UTME /DE
• Fill in the scratch card purchase
• Application completed
• Print out the following:
  • Application Summary
  • Download payment invoice
• Note: The O’Level results fetched in this process and used by the candidate to fill this online screening form is what shall be presented for verification during registration.

UPLOAD OF “O” LEVEL AND “A” LEVEL RESULT ON JAMB PROFILE: UTME and Direct Entry candidates should note that in addition to the above Post-UTME Registration, they are equally required to visit JAMB accredited CBT centres to upload their “O”Level/”A” Level results on their JAMB profile.

NON-ACCEPTANCE OF ADMISSION ON CAPS AFTER (4) WEEKS

Candidates are advised to monitor their admission on their JAMB profile. There would be a grace period of four (4) weeks within which all approved admissions must be accepted by the candidates. Failure of such candidates to accept the admission, such admission will be deleted, and the candidate placed under the “refusal to accept category” punishable by ineligibility to be admitted again.

Candidate should also note that POST-UTME Screening is MANDATORY. Any candidate who FAILS to participate would not be considered for admission.
