The Senate of Bells University of Technology led by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jeremiah O. Ojediran, RE (COREN) MNSE, has announced the appointment of Professor Francis Temsas Cheo as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University.


This is part of strategic efforts in making Bells University of Technology more robust in providing qualitative service for the actualization of its vision, mission and goals.
Professor Cheo has a Diploma in Theatre Arts and Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language (1989) from the University of Yaoundé, Cameroon; Master of Arts (1997) and PhD (2005) degrees in English Language from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
As a foundation staff of the University, Prof. Cheo started his career at as a lecturer in the Centre for Foundation Education, where he has acquired very profound administrative experience. Some of the administrative positions he has held include: Male Hall Warden (2006-2013); Coordinator, Centre for Foundation Education (2006-2009); Dean, Student Affairs (2013-2016); Director, Centre for Foundation Education (2016-date). Until his appointment, he was the Director, Centre for Foundation Education.
He has published articles in credible journal outlets, authored books (drama and poetry), contributed chapters in books and conference proceedings.
