UMYU Post UTME Form 2026/2027 Is Out [UPDATED]

Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) wishes to invite candidates who applied for admission into the university and have the institution as their first choice, through the year 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) application to register for aptitude test/screening via the University website www.umyu.edu.ng. 

Please note that, only the candidates who satisfied the correct UTME subject combinations would be enabled for the registration. DE candidates, on the other hand, are not to appear physically for the aptitude test/screening as their screening would be conducted online

The online registration exercise will commence on Thursday, 16th July, 2026 and close on Friday, 31st July, 2026.  The date for the aptitude test/screening would be indicated on the registration slip of the applicants

Candidates Invited for UMYU Post UTME Form

To be eligible for the aptitude test/screening, a candidate must have:

• Scored the minimum cut off marks for the programme applied from the year 2026 UTME examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB);
• Obtained a minimum of five (5) relevant credits at O’ level (including English and Mathematics);
• Sat for the relevant UTME subject combination in the 2026 JAMB examination;
• In addition to obtaining the minimum five (5) O’ level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics), Direct Entry (DE) candidates shall obtain the minimum ‘A’ Level points for the programme they applied.

Eligible candidates are to upload the following documents on the University’s website.

• JAMB Result Slip of the year 2026 for UTME candidates or JAMB Registration Slip of the year 2026 in the case of DE candidates;
• O’ Level Result(s);
• Form of identification (Indigene Letter/National Identification Card/International Passport etc);
• Direct Entry (DE) Candidates are to upload their ‘A’ Level Result (Diploma, IJMB, NCE etc).

Eligible candidates are to upload the following documents on the University’s Post UTME PORTAL from Thursday, 16th July, 2026.

2026 JAMB UTME Programme Cut-Off Mark and UTME Subjects

The Senate of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University has approved the following minimum cut off marks for admission in 2026/2027 session.

UMYU Screening Exam

UTME Candidates are to come along with the payment slip for the aptitude test and would be required to submit hard copies of their credentials at the venue of the test.  Upon registration, the date of the aptitude test would be indicated on the registration slip.

Direct entry candidates are also requested to forward hardcopies of their credentials to the office of the Registrar after the online registration.

Please note that all visually impaired candidates are exempted from the Post-UTME aptitude test, but are requested to forward hard copies of their credentials to the office of the Registrar

Upon registration, the date of the aptitude test would be indicated on the registration slip and candidates are advised to be checking the website for information/update on the test/screening.

Direct entry candidates are also requested to forward hardcopies of their credentials to the office of the Registrar after the online registration.

Please note that those who were recognized by the JAMB as physically challenged candidates are exempted from the Post-UTME aptitude test, but are requested to forward hard copies of their credentials to the office of the Registrar.

How to Apply for UMYU Post UTME Form.

• Go to UMYU College Portal
• Click on ‘Register a new Account’ at the right to fill the registration form. 
  NOTE: Registration is to be done once. If you have registered before just login to continue filling your form.
• On successful payment, log on to your profile and edit your application profile (This will require your recent passport photograph and your biodata).
• Print your Screening Acknowledgement Details
• Please always check to confirm if you are shortlisted.
• Login to pay for acceptance fee. Login to print your Admission Letter and other forms
• Make sure to print all your payment receipts.
• Eligible candidates should upload the following documents on the University’s website.
  (i) JAMB Slip;
  (ii) O’Level Result;
  (iii) Forms of identification (Indigene Letter, National ID card/International passport etc)
• The official cost for the post utme form Two Thousand Naira Only (N2,000).
