UMYU Post UTME Form 2025/2026 [2nd Batch]

Umar Musa Yar’Adua University Katsina, UMYU Post UTME Screening Form for 2025/2026 Session is now on sale. The closing date is Thursday, 17th October 2025. The form cost 2,000. This is the 2nd Batch Registration.

Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) wishes to invite candidates who applied for admission into the university and have the institution as their first choice, through the year 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) application to register for aptitude test/screening via the University website www.umyu.edu.ng.

Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, wishes to inform the general public that it has secured approval from the National Universities Commission for the establishment of the following fifteen (15) new programmes:

B.NSc. Nursing Science
B.Medical Laboratory Science
B.Sc. Cyber Security
B.Sc. Plant Science and Biotechnology
B.Sc. Animal and Environmental Biology
B.Sc. Medical Physics
B.Sc. Physics with Electronics
B.Sc. Applied Geophysics
B.Sc. Information System
B.Sc. Software Engineering
B. Ed. Educational Management
B. Ed. Guidance and Counseling
B.A. Arabic Literary Study and Translation
B.Sc. Food Science and Technology

Candidates who wish to study any of the programmes listed above are invited to register for an aptitude test.

Accordingly, candidates who have either missed the first Post UTME Aptitude Test or want to apply for the existing programmes of the university are also invited for the test.

However, the following programmes are exempted: Agriculture, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Education & Computer Science, Environmental Management, International Relations, Law, Library and Information Science, Medicine & Surgery, and Microbiology.

To register for the test, candidates who have selected Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina as their first choice in the year 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) application and have scored the minimum cut-off marks for the programmes they applied for. To register, visit the University’s Post UTME Portal.

Candidates shall note that only those who obtained the minimum cut-off mark and satisfied the correct UTME subject combinations will be enabled for the registration. Check the list of candidates eligible for the 2nd Post-UTME screening HERE.

Registration for the aptitude test will be open from Saturday, 11th October 2025, through Friday, 17th October 2025. The aptitude test will be held on Saturday, 18th October 2025.

Eligible candidates are to upload the following documents during the application:
1) JAMB Result Slip of the year 2025 for UTME candidates;
2) O’ Level Result(s);
3) Means of identification (Indigene Letter, National Identification Card, International Passport, etc);

Candidates who are awaiting results can equally apply.

MODE OF PAYMENT

Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of N2,000.00 only (all charges inclusive) for the aptitude test through the payment options provided on the University’s website.

UTME Candidates are to come along with their payment slips for the aptitude test. All candidates are advised to check the University’s website for information/updates on the test.

Please note that candidates identified by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) with ‘special needs’ are exempted from the Post-UTME aptitude test but are requested to forward the hard copies of their credentials to the Office of the Registrar.

Candidates Invited for UMYU Post UTME Form

To be eligible for the aptitude test/screening, a candidate must have:

Scored the minimum cut off marks for the programme applied from the year 2025 UTME examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB);
Obtained a minimum of five (5) relevant credits at O’ level (including English and Mathematics);
Sat for the relevant UTME subject combination in the 2025 JAMB examination;
In addition to obtaining the minimum five (5) O’ level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics), Direct Entry (DE) candidates shall obtain the minimum ‘A’ Level points for the programme they applied.

Eligible candidates are to upload the following documents on the University’s website.

JAMB Result Slip of the year 2025 for UTME candidates or JAMB Registration Slip of the year 2025 in the case of DE candidates;
O’ Level Result(s);
Form of identification (Indigene Letter/National Identification Card/International Passport etc);
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates are to upload their ‘A’ Level Result (Diploma, IJMB, NCE etc).

Eligible candidates are to upload the following documents on the University’s Post UTME PORTAL from Friday, 29th August 2025.

UTME Candidates are to come along with the payment slip for the aptitude test and would be required to submit hard copies of their credentials at the venue of the test. Upon registration, the date of the aptitude test would be indicated on the registration slip.

Direct entry candidates are also requested to forward hardcopies of their credentials to the office of the Registrar after the online registration.

Please note that all visually impaired candidates are exempted from the Post-UTME aptitude test, but are requested to forward hard copies of their credentials to the office of the Registrar

Please note that those who were recognized by the JAMB as physically challenged candidates are exempted from the Post-UTME aptitude test, but are requested to forward hard copies of their credentials to the office of the Registrar.

How to Apply for UMYU Post UTME Form.

Go to UMYU College Portal
Click on ‘Register a new Account’ at the right to fill the registration form.
NOTE: Registration is to be done once. If you have registered before just login to continue filling your form.
On successful payment, log on to your profile and edit your application profile (This will require your recent passport photograph and your biodata).
Print your Screening Acknowledgement Details
Please always check to confirm if you are shortlisted.
Login to pay for acceptance fee. Login to print your Admission Letter and other forms
Make sure to print all your payment receipts.
