Nigerian Lady Makes List Of Finalists Of Global Students Award, Set to Win $100,000

Cursory: Ms. Onyinye Omenugha, a Nigerian Law School student, has been selected as one of the top 50 finalists for the prestigious Chegg Global Student Prize. Her positive impact through LAWSANAID and KACAC organizations contributed to her recognition. Omenugha is the only Nigerian student on the list and has also won another outstanding award.

Ms. Onyinye Omenugha, originally from Anambra state, has brought pride to Anambra and Nigeria by being selected as one of the top 50 finalists for the prestigious global student Prize.

The Chegg Global Student Prize, created in partnership with the Varkey Foundation, honors exceptional students who are making a significant impact on learning, the lives of their peers, and society at large.

The Prize recognizes inspiring students worldwide who are actively transforming the world for the better. It is the counterpart to the Global Teacher Prize and is open to students aged 16 and above who are currently enrolled in an academic institution or skills program.

Omenugha, a Nigerian Law School student, has been actively engaged in extracurricular activities during her Law undergraduate studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Her selection as one of the top 50 finalists for the Global Student Prize is due to the positive impact she has been making in the lives of other students and society through her organizations, LAWSANAID and Kate Centre for Arts and Creativity (KACAC).

Notably, Onyinye Omenugha and Noel Ifeanyi Alumona are the only students in Nigeria to make it to the list of top finalists.

Furthermore, Onyinye has recently been recognized and celebrated for winning the Diana Award, an esteemed humanitarian award for young people with outstanding contributions across the globe.
