Elizabeth’s Journey: How She Turned Challenges Into Triumph
Elizabeth began her studies at FUTA in 2020 with one clear goal: to finish with first-class honors. As the first child in her family to enter university, she felt both the pressure and responsibility to succeed. Rather than letting fear overwhelm her, she used it as motivation.
However, her journey was far from easy. She faced setbacks, made mistakes, and experienced moments of deep discouragement. But these challenges pushed her toward a turning point that reshaped her life—finding a renewed connection with God.
Through prayer, self-discovery, and clarity about her purpose, Elizabeth found the strength and confidence she needed. She described this phase as one where “doors opened, tears were wiped away, and the right people showed up at the right time.”
More Than Academics: Building Leadership, Influence, and Impact
Beyond her academic success, Elizabeth immersed herself in activities that transformed her into a leader and changemaker.
She:
- Built a strong personal brand with over 57,000 followers
- Spoke at more than 100 events, both online and in person
- Hosted her own event with over 800 attendees
- Served as Director of Software in NACOS
- Founded two thriving tech communities
- Launched a career in Product Management
Despite balancing her coursework with these responsibilities, she never lost sight of her dream.
Manifesting the Vision: Writing Her Testimony Before It Happened
One of the most powerful moments in her story came when she decided to write down her testimony before it became reality. Whenever she felt discouraged, she revisited that written vision to remind herself of what she was working toward.
This simple act became her anchor—helping her stay disciplined, focused, and fueled by purpose.
In 2025, her long-held dream finally came true: she graduated with a First-Class degree, making herself and her family proud.
Elizabeth’s Advice to Students
Elizabeth encourages young people to set clear goals and pursue them with determination.
“If you don’t see it, you can’t be it. The power of vision cannot be overstated,” she said.
She emphasizes that dreams require more than desire—they demand consistency, sacrifice, and intentional action.
“Dream big. See it clearly. Work toward it relentlessly. Never let anyone limit what God has placed inside you.”
