COOU Graduate Pays Tribute to Late Final-Year Coursemates During Sign-Out

A COOU graduate, @bbigjay_001, paid a heartfelt tribute to his two late coursemates during his sign-out celebration, a gesture that went viral and moved many online.

A recent graduate of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) in Anambra State has touched hearts online after honoring two classmates who tragically passed away in their final year.

Identified on TikTok as @bbigjay_001, the student—who served as President of the National Association of Political Science Students at COOU—used his sign-out celebration to pay tribute to Calista and Chibuike.

He signed a commemorative banner with their photos, alongside a heartfelt message:

“During our sign-out celebration, I took time to remember and sign for my deceased coursemates, Calista and Chibuike. Both of them passed in our final year. It’s painful, mehn… but death, they say, is inevitable. RIP Cally. RIP Chief Priest. Congratulations on your sign-out.”

The emotional video of his tribute quickly went viral on TikTok, drawing praise and emotional reactions from viewers who commended his act of remembrance.
