A dedicated teacher from Durban made sure her students looked their best for picture day by styling their hair. The heartwarming gesture earned her widespread praise on social media.
The teacher, who goes by @mchunu_wandorh on TikTok, shared a video of herself combing and styling her students’ baby hair to prepare them for their photos. The children, who appeared to be around eight years old, patiently waited as their teacher-turned-hairstylist worked her magic.
In one touching moment, a curious little girl ran up to watch her classmate get her hair done. The video then showed one of the students beaming in front of the camera, ready for her picture while the others waited their turn.
The video has garnered over half a million views, with many commenting on the teacher’s kindness and dedication.
A photographer, @karabowaletsele, commented, “How I wish more teachers would do this.”
An emotional user, @lessie0813, added, “This makes me sad because some parents don’t appreciate teachers. They treat them like enemies.”
