To this end, we hereby inform all students to disregard the news. As soon as the authentic scholarship form for 2019 commence, we will update thsi page. Stay glued.that this scholarship requires an application fee. And from the best of our knowledge, ExxonMobil scholarship don’t require money to complete registration.

This is to inform all interested applicants and the general public that the 2019 /2020 ExxonMobil scholarship Registration is Ongoing. The online registration portal for the ExxonMobil Scholarship 2019 is open to all suitable and qualified applicants who wish to apply.

About ExxonMobil Scholarship

Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN), operator of its joint venture (JV) with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) awards 500 undergraduate scholarships annually to students in Nigerian Universities.

The scholarship awards are for one academic year initially and are renewable to cover the duration of approved study, based on the student’s academic performance and related reports from the institutions.

The NNPC/MPN JV Scholarship is aimed at assisting the Federal Government of Nigeria in the training and development of medium and high level manpower for the country, while also enhancing a possible feeder pool of employable candidates into the company.

Some of the candidates have been successful in the company’s recruitment exercise after graduation; however, there is no obligation by ExxonMobil to otter employment to the awardees upon their completion of studies.

Exxonmobil Scholarship Worth

The Scholarship worth is Seventy-Five Thousand Naira (N75,000) every year till graduation.

Eligible Nationality

The ExxonMobil undergraduate scholarship is a Nigerian scholarship for Nigerian students only. Qualified and suitable students from every state of the Federation including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Nigeria are eligible to receive this oil company’s scholarship award.

Students Eligible to apply for Exxon-Mobil Scholarship 2019

  • Candidates must be holders of the SSCE or its equivalent with at least six subjects passed at a sitting with a minimum of 5 Distinctions.
  • Applicants must be registered as full-time undergraduates in their 1st or 2nd year of study in any Nigerian University.
  • Applicants must be verified students of the approved disciplines (courses) as listed on this page.
  • Students who are currently on similar scholarship awards from other oil and gas companies need not apply.
  • Dependents of employees of Mobil Producing Nigeria, Mobil Oil Nigeria plc and Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited are also not eligible for this scholarship.

How to Apply for ExxonMobil Nigeria Scholarship 2019

If you are qualified and interested, please complete the form on scholarship website (see link below). Below are the documents you will upload during application.

  • Recent Passport Photographs.
  • Evidence of JAMB Result / Admission Letter into a Nigeria University.
  • Evidence of SSCE result
  • Evidence of State of Origin obtained from the appropriate Local Government Area and duly signed by the Chairman or Secretary.

After successful upload, candidates should proceed to verify his/her Student Admission Status then submit.

Shortlisted and Successful Verified candidates will be contacted and required to come with the original and photocopy of the uploaded documents for screening prior to taking the qualifying test.

Exxon-Mobil Scholarship Qualifying Test 

In line with ExxonMobil e-scholarship administration system, selected students will be invited for computer -administered qualifying tests in selected examination centers nationwide.

The available examination centers includes: Ibadan, Enugu, Portharcourt, Benin, Lagos and Kano.

Shortlisted candidates for this qualifying test will be invited by email and SMS text messages. All applicants are therefore advised to ensure that they use an active Phone Number and email address.
