A female student was swiftly evicted from her hostel after stealing three high-capacity power banks, ending the lodge’s two-year streak of trust and triggering a wave of relief among her fellow residents.

A female student was evicted from her hostel after being caught stealing three power banks from fellow residents, just weeks after moving into the building.
The incident, which gained attention on TikTok, revealed that the hostel had previously enjoyed a theft-free environment where students safely charged their devices in a communal area. However, after the arrival of the new student in January, items began to go missing.
When three power banks and a charger disappeared, a thorough room search was carried out, and the stolen items were discovered hidden in the student’s bag.
According to a student who shared the story online, the theft angered the entire hostel community, as no such incident had occurred in the lodge’s two-year history. Despite being caught, the student reportedly showed no remorse.
Following the discovery, the caretaker and hostel president swiftly organized the removal of her belongings and, after a brief hostel meeting, her immediate eviction was agreed upon.
She left the premises the same morning with all her belongings, as hostel members celebrated the return of their peaceful, trusted environment.
