CURSORY: Tyrone Iras Marhguy has taken pride in his numerous academic accomplishments as he makes a post on his social media handle on X.


Tyrone Iras Marhguy, a young man who was denied admission from Achimota School because of his dreadlocks, but he was enrolled eventually through a court order, has celebrated his big win on social media.
After a mathematics competition, Marhguy was crowned the National top scorer in the 2023 American Mathematics Olympiad.
He won a gold medal in the competition against more than 150,000 kids globally. He also earned the Vanda Science International Olympiad in the Silver category out of 38,000 students. Marguy emphasizes his accomplishment.
In Tyrone Marhguy’s post, upon winning the US Mathematics Olympiad’s National Top Scorer title, he said;
“We did it fam! American Math Olympiad – Gold Medalist – Overall National Top Scorer (~150,000+). Vanda Science Olympiad – Silver Medalist (~38,000+). Int. Jnr. Honor Society – 2023.”
