(ii) (iii) UNN requires Geography and any two (2) subject preferably Arts or Social Science subjects.
(iv) UMYUK requires Geography and any other two (2) Science subjects. For Social Science they require Geography and any other two (2) Social Science subjects.
(v) ABU requires Use of English, Geography, Biology and any other science subject (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Agricultural Science and Economics).
(vi) KASU requires Geography and two other Science subjects that may include Agric. Science.
O’LEVELSUBJECT COMBINATION FOR GEOGRAPHY UNDER THE FACULTY OF SCIENCES
(i) OOU requires two (2) other Science subjects.
(ii) IBADAN requires five (5) or six (6) ‘O’ Level credit passes at one (1) or two (2) sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Geography, and any two (2) other Science subjects.
(iii) GSU accepts Economics.
(iv) UMYUK Science Option- five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes or its equivalent in English Language, Mathematics, Geography, and any two (2) of Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Agricultural Science. Social Science Option- five (5) ‘ O’ level credit passes or its equivalent in English Language, Mathematics, Geography, and any two (2) of Government, Economics, Commerce and Accounting.
(v) ABU requires Five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography, Biology and any other Science subject.
(vi) UNN requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language, Geography and any three (3) from Arts or Social Science subjects and at least ‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics.
(vii) KASU only accepts among Chemistry, Biology or Physics as the other two (2) Science subjects.
(viii) ABSU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) subjects from Arts, Social Sciences and Sciences. ‘O’ Level credit pass in Geography is compulsory.
(ix) MINNA requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Geography and any one (1) of Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Economics, Government.
(x) GOUU requires two (2) other subjects from Arts or Social Sciences.
(xi) KASU accepts Five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Geography and two other Science subjects.
DIRECT ENTRY SUBJECT COMBINATION FOR GEOGRAPHY UNDER THE FACULTY OF SCIENCES
(i) MINNA accepts Geography and Mathematics/Physics Physics preferred.
(ii) MINNA accepts NCE merit, ND/HND upper or lower credit Meteorology.

(iv) KUST accepts IJMB/ND/NCE for Direct Entry in Geography
(v) GSU accepts Economics and Government.
(vi) UMYUK accepts a minimum of 9 points in IJMB/HSC/GCE ‘A’ Level/NCE in relevant subjects. All candidates must have Geography.
(vii) UNN accepts (a) two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Geography and any one (1) of Economics, History, Agricultural Science, Geology, and Literature in English, Biology, Chemistry or Physics. (b) NCE merit in Geography, ND lower credit in Town Planning, Surveying, Environmental Management or Tropical Science, plus four (4) ‘O’ Level credit passes which must include English Language and at least ‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics.
(viii) GOUU accepts NCE in Geography.
(ix) IBADAN accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level subjects including Geography and any other Science subject for Geography.

O’LEVEL SUBJECT COMBINATION FOR GEOGRAPHY UNDER THE FACULTY OF SOCIAL/MANAGEMENT SCIENCES
(i) OAU requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics, Geography and any two (2) from Economics, Government, Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Christian Religious Studies /Islamic Studies, Yoruba, Civic Education, ICT/Animal Husbandry, History, Literature in English.
(ii) IBADAN accepts a. Candidates who did not offer Geography at UTME, but has ‘O’ Level credit pass in the subject. b. Five (5)/six (6) ‘O’ Level credit passes at one or two (2) sittings to include English Language, Geography and any three (3) Arts or Social Science subjects with at least pass in Mathematics.
(iii) BSU requires ‘O’ Level credit pass in Mathematics.
(iv) LASU accepts ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Geography, and any three (3) of Economics, Government, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Additional Mathematics. ‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics is also accepted.
(v) ABSU requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Geography and any three (3) of History, Government, Economics, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry and Agricultural Science.
(vi) TSUJ and NDU require five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any two (2) from Arts or Social Science subjects
(vii) BAYERO requires Geography and one other Social Science subject.
(viii) ILORIN requires ‘O’ Level credit pass in Mathematics.
(ix) BELLS and PHC require ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Geography and any other three (3) subjects.
(x) LAGOS requires Five ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any two subjects from Science or Social Sciences.
(xi) UNIOSUN requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any two (2) relevant Science, Social Science or Humanities subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.
(xii) KWASU requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Geography and any other two (2) science or Social Science subjects and one Science subject preferably Physics, Chemistry and Technical Drawing.
(xiii) NDA requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any two (2) of Arts and Social Science from either History, Economics, Government, Civic Education Physics, Chemistry and Biology Preference will be given to those having credits in Social Science subjects.
(xiv) PAAU requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and two (2) other relevant subjects in either Sciences or Social Sciences.
(xv) UNN accepts five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language, Geography and any three (3) subjects and ‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics.
(xvi) NDU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any two (2) from Arts, Social Science or Science subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.
(xvii) ABUJA accepts five (5) credit passes at ‘O’ Level or its equivalent in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any two (2) of Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Biology/ Agricultural Science and Government.
(xviii) FED-DUTSINMA requires Five ‘O’ level Credits in Geography, English Language, Mathematics, and any two subjects from Science, Social Sciences or Arts.
(xxiii) FED-GASHUA requires five SSC credit passes in English Language, Geography, and any three (3) from Science or Social Science subjects with at least a credit pass in Mathematics.
(xxiv) PHC requires Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Geography, and any three (3) from Economics, Commerce, Government, CRK/IRK, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science. NOTE a Pass in Mathematics is compulsory, if Mathematics is not inclusive in the five credits.
(xxv) FED-LOKOJA requires five (5) credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in Geography, English Language, Mathematics and any two (2) other subjects which must both be from Arts and Social Science (History, Government, Economics) or Natural Science (Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics) both not from both groups.
(xxvi) IAUED accepts Holders of WASSC/NECO/GCE or its equivalent with Five (5) O’Level subjects (Credit pass) in one (1) sitting OR Six (6) O’Level subjects in two (2) sittings. The 5 or 6 subjects include: English Language, Mathematics, AND 3 of either Economics, Social Studies, Govt./Civic Education OR Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric. Sc, Technical Drawing.
(xxvii) RSU accepts Five (5) WASC/SSCE/ GCE/NECO ‘O’ Level Credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any two (2) other Social Science Subjects.
(xxviii) SOSU accepts Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and Geography & two other Arts or Social Science subjects at not more than two sittings.

(v) UDU accepts NCE merit level in Geography and ND lower credit level in Town Planning, Surveying, environmental Management or Tropical Science plus four (4) ‘O’ Level credits passes including English Language and ‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics.
(vi) PHC accepts Two (2) Advanced level passes in GCE or HSC or JUPEB or IJMB, one (1) of which must be Geography in addition to UTME Entry requirements.
(vii) MAUTY does not accept Economics
(viii) IBADAN requires two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Geography and any one of Economics, Government or History.
(ix) KWASU accepts IJMB and two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in relevant subjects.
(x) UNIOSUN accepts ND in Surveying, Geology, Civil Engineering or Urban and Regional Planning, and with NCE credit in Geography combination.
(xi) UNN accepts a. Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Geography and anyone of Economics, History, Agricultural Science, Geology, Literature in English, Biology, Chemistry or Physics. b. NCE merit level in Geography and ND merit in Town Planning, Surveying, Environmental Management or Tropical Science plus the UTME requirements.
(xii) TSUJ in addition to UTME requirements requires a. Three (3) ‘A’ Level passes which must include Geography. b. Accepts NCE merit and ND/HND credit in relevant programmes such as Land Surveying, Cartography, Estate Management, Town Planning, Architecture and Environmental Science.
(xiii) NDU accepts a. ‘A’ Level passes in Geography and any one of the Social Sciences, Arts or Science subjects. b. NCE credit in Geography and one teaching subject in the Social Sciences, Arts or Science. c. ND upper credit level in Urban/Regional Planning or Environmental Science.
(xiv) LAGOS accepts Very good passes in three JUPEB/A’ Level subjects: Geography and any two of Economics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Government.
(xv) ABUJA accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Geography and any other Science subject, Economics or Government. ND upper credit in Surveying, Town planning or Environmental management.
(xvi) FED-DUTSINMA accepts Two ‘A’ level passes in Geography and one of Economics, Government, History, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. OND/NCE with good grades in any relevant area.
(xvii) OAU accepts a. ‘A’ Level in Geography and any two (2) Science or Humanities subjects b. ND/HND upper credit in Surveying and Geo-informatics, Land Surveying, Urban and Regional Planning, Statistics, Mathematics or Tourism
(xviii) FED-GASHUA requires two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Geography and any one of Economics, Government, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
(xix) IAUED accepts A ‘Level or holders of ND/OND & NCE will be admitted into year two(2). The A ‘Level/ND/OND/NCE/ must be in Geography or Urban & Regional Planning, Estate Mgt. Architecture, Envt’l Mgt. Survey, Geology.
(xx) RSU accepts; Admissions into Year III; Degree relevant to the Programme. HND (Upper Credit) relevant to the Programme. Admissions into Year II; HND (Lower Credit) relevant to the Programme. OND/ND (Upper Credit) in relevant discipline. Degree (Third Class) relevant to the programme. In addition, all such candidates above must also satisfy the UME entry requirements.
(xxi) SOSU accepts NCE/Diploma in Geography with at Least Lower Credit or Diploma in Geography, Environmental Management and Planning, Survey or any other related field of study with at least Lower Credit pass.
(xxii) FED-LOKOJA requires; a) For IJMB, two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Geography and any one of History/Government, Economics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, Geology or Mathematics. b) For NCE, Minimum of credit pass in Geography. c) For OND, Minimum of Upper Credit in Cartography, Land Surveying and GIS/Geo-informatics. d) For HND, minimum of Upper Credit in Cartography, Land Surveying and GIS/Geo-informatics. e) For Bachelor’s Degree, minimum of third class from Economics, Geology, Land Surveying, Cartography, GIS/Geoinformatics.
