#JusticeForKaren: Karen-Happuch Aondodoo Akpagher Raped In Premier College, Dies

A 14-year-old female boarding student, Miss Karen-Happuch Aondodoo Akpagher of the Premier College, a school in Lugbe, Abuja, was raped inside school premises which eventually lead to her death.

The incident occurred early this year and up till now, she is yet to get justice.

Her story is a very touching one and one that needs to be critically tacked with the perpetuators brought to book and justice served

A used condom was reportedly found inside her before she gave up the ghost.

The story was recalled by David Hundeyin in post on his Twitter handle after many months.

The post reads:
“This is Keren-Happuch Aondodoo Akpagher, a 14 year-old student of Premiere Academy, Lugbe, Abuja who died of sepsis earlier this year. A used condom was found inside her. The school has successfully stonewalled and prevented all information from emerging. I know because I tried.

Her mom is on my WhatsApp and I lose the will to live everytime she puts up a story, because it’s always about her daughter. This is her current profile picture where she is pleading with fellow parents and other students to speak up. So far, nothing

“This is what Nigeria is in 2021. A school that costs N750,000+ per term has had a 14 year-old female boarding student raped on its premises, leading to her excruciatingly painful death by sepsis. But because it is linked to power, her mom is left to fight alone.

“If you’re wondering why this school has been able to keep this scandal contained, a peek behind the curtain at who owns it provides an answer.
