Lecturer Punishes Absent Students, Makes Them Fill 40-Page Notebook with “I’ll Never Miss Class Again”

A Nigerian lecturer went viral for punishing absent students by making them write “I’ll never miss class again” in a 40-page notebook, sparking online discussions about strict disciplinary methods.

A Nigerian lecturer has gone viral after enforcing a unique punishment on students who missed his lecture, requiring them to repeatedly write “I’ll never miss class again” in a 40-page notebook.

The unusual discipline method was revealed in a TikTok video shared by one of the affected students.

In the video, several students, presumed to be from the same class, are seen dutifully writing the statement as part of their punishment for missing the lecture. The video’s caption reads: “A lecturer asked everyone who missed his class to write ‘I’ll never miss class again’ in a 40-leaf notebook.”

The student also showcased her own notebook along with those of others who received the same punishment.
