Meet Nehemiah Ash: Teen Graduates University Before Finishing High School

Nehemiah Ash, a gifted American teen, made history by earning an Associate of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University through dual enrollment before finishing high school, graduating with honors and excelling as a leader, scholar-athlete, and future commercial pilot.

Nehemiah Ash, a remarkable American teen, earned an Associate of Science degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University before completing high school, setting a historic milestone at Able Christian School.

Nehemiah, senior class of 2025, achieved this feat through dual enrollment, balancing high school and university coursework. He maintained a 4.5 GPA in high school and 3.8 GPA in college, earning Dean’s List honors every term.

His aviation journey began in 8th grade. “The Aeronautical Science program at Embry-Riddle provides an excellent foundation for becoming a commercial airline pilot,” Nehemiah said. He learned about dual enrollment in 11th grade and seized the opportunity.

Nehemiah graduated Embry-Riddle with honors one month before finishing high school, later becoming valedictorian at Able Christian School. He’s now pursuing Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach campus, working toward commercial pilot certifications.

Beyond academics, Nehemiah led JROTC, served as student ambassador, and was a scholar-athlete. “It’s been intense, but every minute’s worth it. I’ve learned to prioritize, stay organized, and make tough choices,” he shared.

Nehemiah encourages students: “If you’re passionate about something, you’ll find energy to make it work. Time management is crucial.”
