Netizens Gush as Nigerian Schoolgirl Reads Fluently in Queen’s English in Class (Video)

Cursory: A Nigerian schoolgirl has gone viral because of the way she read in class. The young girl read like someone who was brought up in England, in perfect Queen’s English. A video of her reading with great confidence has sparked reactions on social media as people reminisced on how they were taught English while in school.

A Nigerian schoolgirl has gone viral on social media after she was recorded reading fluently in Queen’s English. Queen’s English is the standard English that most non-native English speakers associate with people from the UK.

In a viral video on TikTok, the girl in uniform could be seen standing as she read from a material that was not captured in the video. She read eloquently to her teacher who gave her instructions in the background while her classmates watched.

She did the reading with great confidence and finesse, making many Nigerians blame their English teachers for their poor grammar.
