Jerry Eze became emotional as he publicly honored and thanked the woman and her husband who sponsored his education from secondary school to university, saying their kindness changed the course of his life.

The founder of Streams of Joy International, Jerry Eze, became emotional while appreciating the woman who sponsored his education from secondary school through university.
Speaking during a church gathering, the pastor shared that when he was in JS3, his mother told him she could not afford to pay for his senior secondary school education.
Because of the financial challenge, he had already begun thinking about learning a trade, such as tailoring, believing it might be his only option.
However, things changed when a woman from his church approached him after a service and revealed that she and her husband felt led by God to sponsor his education.
According to Pastor Jerry, the couple paid his school fees from SS1 until he completed university and even welcomed him into their home, treating him like their own child.
He described the woman as someone who “saw tomorrow,” explaining that their generosity completely changed the direction of his life and opened doors he might never have experienced.
The pastor added that the couple did not know him personally and were not from his village or state, yet they still chose to invest in his future after meeting him in church.
Expressing deep gratitude, he said his life is a testimony of grace and encouraged people not to look down on others because no one truly knows where greatness will come from.
He also prayed that God would continue to bless the couple for their kindness and the important role they played in shaping his life’s journey.
