Redeemer’s University Secures Accreditation for Seven Courses

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has accredited Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State, Law, Nursing and 5 other programmes.

There was a joyful celebration as the news filtered in, that all the seven programmes presented by Redeemer’s University during the March/April 2021 accreditation visits were approved by the National Universities Commission. The newly accredited programmes are Law, Nursing Sciences, Physiotherapy, Human Anatomy, Psychology, English Language, and Theatre Arts.

According to the National Universities Commission, the approval was in pursuance of its mandate and in consonance with the provisions of the current Federal Government approved guidelines; initial accreditation of a new programme is held after the programme has run for two academic sessions following approval for the establishment of the programme.

Speaking on the development, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Anthony Akinlo , who was elated, reiterated the commitment of his administration to continue to enhance and sustain the quality of programmes being offered by the university to its students.

He commended the faculty and other staff for their efforts and commitment towards the successful accreditation of the various programmes.

He also appreciated the founding proprietors, the Redeemed Christian Church of God, its entire headship and other well-meaning Nigerians for their unalloyed supports toward making the university an institution of excellence.
