CURSORY: A gunman has opened fire at a school in Russia, killing at least 13 people and injuring 21 before committing suicide.
on Monday, September 26, Seven children and six adults were reportedly killed, including two security guards and two teachers in the city of Izhevsk.
The attack was the latest in a series of school shootings that have shaken Russia in recent years and came with the country on edge over efforts to mobilise tens of thousands of men to fight in Ukraine.
The gunman who was a former pupil of the school killed himself at the scene. It is alleged he is a Ukranian and a trending photo shows him wearing Ukranian military uniform while wearing a swastika on his chest.
