Seven students of the Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State, have bagged national laurels after winning the 2021 edition of the national competition.


The students were honoured by the TASUED Enactus club for their display of talents to use waste to develop everyday products, especially, using plantain leaves to make menstrual pads.
The students include Omiyale Afusat, Adelekan Abosede, John Blessing, Koleosho Rachael, Sharon Adebiyi, Oyedeyi Habeebat.
Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Wole Banjo, congratulated them for winning the 2021 edition of the national competition.
He enjoined them to replicate the feat at the coming international competition taking place at Netherlands in October, 2021.
