TASUED appoints Prof. Wole Banjo as acting Vice-Chancellor


The Ogun State Governor and Visitor to the University, Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun MFR, has approved the appointment of Prof. Oluwole Sikiru Banjo as the Ag. Vice Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education, ijagun, Ogun State.
Prof. Banjo was until his appointment, the Deputy Vice Chancellor and Chairman, Academic Ceremonies Committee of the University.
Prof. Banjo has M.Sc in Wildlife Ecotourism and Master Degree in Personnel Psychology. He has a Ph.D in Wild Life and Ecotourism Management from the University of Ibadan.
He had also served as the Pioneer Dean of the College of Vocational and Technology Education, (COVTED).
He had served on several committees and different capacities in the University which includes such as Postgraduate Committee, Development Committee, University Senate and Dean of College of Science and Information Technology among others.
The new Acting Vice Chancellor is also a recipient of several awards and laurels.
He belongs to various Professional and Academic Associations which include Beekeeping Association of Nigeria (BAN), Nigerian Society of Animal Production, Grasscutter Production and Management Science of Nigeria, Ecotourism Society of Nigeria and Resource Personnel (ASSN), Centre for Bee Research and Development among others.
Prof. Banjo is happily married with children.
