UNIJOS Celebrates Graduation of Oldest Student Admitted in 2005

After a span of 18 years, Haruna Aminu Ali, known as Bojo, has graduated from the University of Jos (UNIJOS). Celebrating this academic milestone, the Facebook page ‘Unijos naraguta/zion hostel’ shared images of Ali alongside his university testimonial.

The page hailed him as the oldest student at UNIJOS, acknowledging the significant challenge of completing his studies after nearly two decades in the program.

The page wrote: “Congratulations Bojo… “The oldest students of the University of Jos. “2005 – 2023 E No Easy O.

“Bojo, is a popular student especially in the faculty of education. This man started University of Jos since 2005. He goes around with his credentials which contain admission letter and all his transfer letters.

“Bojo is a fun to be man, sometimes annoying when he is aggressive. He is always at the HOD’s office even when he has nothing to do there.

“Congratulations Bojo. Finally, The Landlord Had Graduated?? “#Congratulations God Bless Your Certificate.”

According to the Facebook page, Ali would often be seen traversing the campus with his academic documents, including admission and transfer letters.

Additionally, he was frequently spotted at the Head of Department’s (HOD) office, even when he didn’t have any official business there.

Despite occasional bouts of aggression, Ali was described as an amiable individual. The page concluded its post with congratulatory remarks and highlighted Bojo’s popularity within the Faculty of Education.
