University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) Clearance Documents for Fresh Students [UPDATED]

This page is for students newly admitted into University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN). We will list out the documents needed for clearance. We will also show you the accurate format for write letter of attestation and undertaking. You will also see how to get the UNN Admission Notification Slip.

UPDATE: We have confirmed that before you can proceed with your clearance, you must have accepted your admission on JAMB CAPS Portal. Once you accept it, print out the page that shows CONGRATULATIONS.

Having done that, we will start by listing out the documents needed for clearance documents.

UNN CLEARANCE DOCUMENTS

1. Printed Page showing you have accepted admission on JAMB CAPS Portal. If you status is showing Admission in Progress, it might serve.
2. O’level Result
3. JAMB Result Slip (Please note it must not be the original result)
4. UNN Post UTME Result Slip
5. Admission Notification Slip (see how to get it below).
6. Acceptance Form/Acceptance of Admission
7. School Fees Receipt
8. Local Government Identification Letter.
9. Birth Certificate/Affidavit/Age Declaration Certificate/Affidavit/Baptismal Card.
10. Student Profile Update (Student biodata form)
11. Letter of Attestation (see format below)
12. Letter of Undertaking (see format below)

Note the Following:

1. Make 3 Photocopy of each of the above mentioned documents and get an office flat file for each of them.
2. Your O’LEVEL and JAMB result must not be original.
3. For medical students, the venue for your clearance is Ekpo ref. in UNN. While for other courses, your venue is your faculty office.
4. After the submission of your first file, you will be given another file with forms to fill.
5. Finally, after few days, your school Registration number appears in your profile. To check it, just login to the student portal and click on profile>>student profile details.

UNN Admission Notification Slip

UNN ADMISSION NOTIFICATION SLIP is one of the documents to be submitted during clearance. As expected, some students don’t know what and how to get it. The slip will show the following details: Admission Session, Registration Number, your name, Course of Study, Faculty, Student Type, and Mode of Entry.

How to get the Admission notification slip.

1. When you login to your portal, (you must have created your profile)…
2. Click on Admissions.., then click on confirm admission.., fill in your necessary details and click on submit….
3. A form will come out! That’s your UNN ADMISSION NOTIFICATION SLIP.
