A 15-year-old female student from Anglican Grammar School in Arigidi Akoko has been remanded in juvenile custody for allegedly stabbing her classmate, 17-year-old Habib Salau, to death during a fight, with the case set for further proceedings in February 2025.


A 15-year-old student from Anglican Grammar School in Arigidi Akoko has been ordered to stay in juvenile custody after being accused of murdering a classmate, 17-year-old Habib Salau.
The ruling was made by Chief Magistrate Olateju Odenusi-Fadeyi, pending further guidance from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.
Prosecutors allege that during a fight, the defendant received a knife and fatally stabbed Salau in the neck.
The case has been adjourned until February 2025 for further proceedings.
